Kevin now has the stump inside the woodshop. Here he is using a router in a jig to work the surface for a more consistent plane than the chainsaw provided. Then he appled Pentacryl, a liquid used to draw the moisture out of the wood. Next the stump will go into a climate controlled space for further drying.
